»The Carousel Collection is a nomadic collection that is assembling, archiving and exhibiting art in the form of 35 mm slides in an ever-looping carousel. By now, almost 100 slides are part of the collection and it has been shown in exhibitions, i.a., at Corner College (Zurich), San Serriffe (Amsterdam), the Kallio Kunsthalle (Helsinki), the Contemporary Art Centre Vilnus and at kim? Contemporary Art Centre in Riga. The works are always presented with a carousel projector. For the exhibition at 45cbm, the studio space of the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, the following group of artists was asked to add a slide to The Carousel Collection: Christian Ertel, Antje Günther, Rodrigo Hernández, Armin Linke, Sylvia Maak, Anne-Sophie Stolz and Tobias Wootton.«
